Mow Cop Road Congelton Mow Cop Road Congelton has three or four laybys  and Mow Cop Castle – and there is always the small wood at the rear of Bosley Cloud.

Warringto Lime Kiln Lane Junction 8 off the M62 and head towards Warrington. Straight over a mini roundabout and then take the first left into Wrights Lane. Follow this road until a sharp right bend and then take the next left down Lime Kiln Lane.

Birchwood Forest Birchwood Forest – take Junction 11 off the M62 and head south on the A574. At the first roundabout turn left and head towards the main car park.

Queens Park Crewe on the west side of the town Queens Park Crewe on the west side of the town.

Macclesfield Forest car parks near the reservoirs Macclesfield Forest  there are a couple of car parks near the reservoirs.

Tiviot Way Stockport Junction 27 off the M60 onto Tiviot Way. Head north towards Stockport and turn off pretty well opposite Tesco’s.

Alderley Edge The popular Wizard car-park now appears to be closed at night, so try the layby on the road in the woods down the lane opposite.
